Blue Cat’s Triple EQ is a freeware, 3 bands semi-parametric equalizer. You can control it as a single filter and customizable shape. Included in the software are 3 filters. There is a low shelf filter, a high shelf filter and a boost/cut peak filter. Also included is its wide range gain (+/- 40dB per Band) and bandwith (.01 to 5 Octave) which makes it very versatile to create any filter shape.
The great thing is that the 3 filters are linked together. Therefore, when you change the center frequency or the bandwith, the parameters of the 3 filters are adjusted to match accordingly. You have the capability to control the entire equalizer with a single mouse click.
In order to control the EQ in real time with automation curve or MIDI, Blue Cat’s Triple EQ has included the Smooth Update Mechanism. This will let you have an absolutely zipper-free, clean and continuous time-varying equalization with no latency. There are also On-Graph Filter Shape Control, window opacity control, undo/redo and the ability to import and export files. Blue Cat is continually upgrading their versions of software in order for the user to have the best quality end product. |
